Karma Tolliver is an enduring student of life and community advocate who calls Birmingham, Alabama home. She currently works as a Corporate Account Executive–or as she likes to say, a “corporate community connector”-- at WBHM, the NPR News member station for the Heart of Alabama. Karma has found herself working with and for the public in some capacity for more than 20 years. From census worker to election polls, from benefits counselor to nonprofits, being able to serve is always the purpose. Chasing cuddles from her cat Maceo or listening to her records are a couple of her favorite pastimes.
