Mackenzie Christensen, a Baltimore, Maryland native, attended Hamilton College for her undergraduate degree. At Hamilton, she studied Public Policy and Women's Studies with an emphasis on the intersection of public health policy and medicine. Mackenzie is in her second year with Project Horseshoe Farm at our Greensboro site. Last year, she spent her time as one of Project HSF's Community Health Fellows before transitioning into her new role as a Hospital Fellow at Hale County Hospital. Mackenzie is excited to still be exploring the immense opportunities and beauty that exist within the small, rural town of Greensboro. Through her experiences working with Project Horseshoe Farm's Health Partners program, Mackenzie has decided to pursue a Master's of Public Health and wants to work at a community level, helping to prevent individuals from developing chronic diseases that require medical intervention.
