In this segment of Alabamians Who Make a Difference, we learn about a unique mural camp in Montevallo, AL. Coordinated by University of Montevallo art professor Collin Williams, the University of Montevallo’s Office of Service Learning, and Montevallo Mayor Hollie Cost, the camp encourages students of all ages to explore the idea of “community art” through painting a nature-themed mural. The project received funding from CAWACO (cawaco.org), and the completed piece can be found in downtown Montevallo.
